Michoacan State is lowering their crime rate, acknowledges Andres Manuel

Mexico City.- In a press conference, the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, recognized the work of the Government of Michoacán headed by Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, to achieve a decrease in the crime of homicide.

He commented that in the month of August there were 29 fewer intentional homicides than in July, confirming a clear downward trend since February 2021.

“If progress has been made. In Michoacán, during the month of August, there was a reduction in homicides, there were 29 fewer than in July,” the president explained.

Likewise, he reported that the operations continue in the Tierra Caliente of Michoacán as part of an institutional coordination strategy to recover peace and guarantee the peace of its inhabitants.
