Morelia, Michoacán.- Eight individuals, suspected of belonging to a cell specialized in manufacturing explosives for drones, were arrested in Catalinas, Buenavista, Michoacán, armed with explosive material and a firearm.

This operation was carried out by the Interinstitutional Operations Bases (BOIS), with participation from the Civil Guard, the Mexican Army, and the National Guard.

The detainees, all Colombian, did not possess the legal documentation to be in Mexico.

Following the arrest, there were roadblocks in the municipality, but they were quickly cleared by the BOIS, restoring traffic.
