Mexico City.- Joe Biden, President of the United States, threw in the towel in his reelection race against Donald Trump after Trump outpaced him during the first debate of the campaign.

The president himself announced this in an open letter published on his X profile, where he wrote, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your president, and although my intention was to run for reelection, I believe the best thing for the interests of my party and my nation is to step aside.”
